Waka Flacka and Gucci Mane are shopping a new reality show about them and their everyday lives as "just regular guys." They are reportedly in talks with BET to air the currently untitled show, which will also feature Waka’s momager and Gucci’s manager, Debra Antney. Gucci tells RumorFix: “We show everyday life. What we get into in [the] studio and at our shows. We just ordinary people with a crazy Rock N Roll lifestyle. Because of the music we make, people think that’s what we do all the time — but we got a real family life. We got heart. We do a lot of things for the community and we love each other….I think they’ll get a laugh more than anything. I’m not serious all the time. People think we are thugs because of our music.”
This may be great for their fans but I tend to feel a little less intelligent after listening to their music so I don't think I'll be watching, will you?
Gucci Mane was arrested yesterday and is reportedly under mental evaluation for the next 30 days. Gucci filed a Special Plea of Mental Incompetency stating he was not in a mental state to fight prosecutors efforts to revoke his bail because he cannot “intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing.” TMZ reports the judge ordered Gucci into custody — and immediately committed the rapper into a mental health treatment facility pending an evaluation of his mental condition. Let's hope that this is Gucci's way of trying to manipulate the system, either way I hope he get the help he needs and get's back in the studio soon.
According to TMZ: cops were on the lookout for “marijuana, articles, pictures, and communications relating to gangs and gang paraphernalia.” Cops ended up finding marijuana, prescription drugs, and two firearms. Waka wasn’t home at the time but another rapper Gucci Mane was handcuffed at the scene — and eventually freed. Two other men in the house were arrested and charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. As for Waka — law enforcement sources tell us they confiscated the guns — a Kel-Tech .223 caliber sub gun, and a Taurus .40 caliber semi-automatic — as well as prescription drugs from his house. A warrant has been issued for Waka.
Gucci Mane is out of jail and all charges have been dropped. Rapper Gucci Mane was ordered released from Fulton County Jail Wednesday after prosecutors announced they would not pursue the pending multiple traffic charges or the obstruction allegation.
