Mariah & Nick Reveal The Babies' Names

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally revealed the names of their twins. The girl is Monroe Cannon and the boy is Moroccan Scott Cannon. The boy’s name is from where Nick proposed to Mariah, the top tier of her New York City apartment which is called the “Moroccan Room.” Scott is Nick’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s maiden name. Little Moroccan will  be nicknamed Roc. Monroe is named after Marilyn Monroe who is Mariah’s idol. She will have no middlename just like Mariah has no middle name. I'm not mad at these names, at least they're sensible. Good job Mariah and Nick.

Lyfe Jenning Is Behind Bars But Welcomes Baby Girl

Incarcerated R&B singer Lyfe Jennings and his fiancee Marquita Goings welcomed their new baby girl earlier last month. Lyfe was sentenced to three and half years in prison last September for kicking in his other baby mama's front door, shooting up her house and crashing his corvette into a pole after a high speed chase with police. Needless to say that he will be missing all the baby girls milestones. So sad. SMH.

Laila Ali Births A Baby Girl

 

Congrats to Laila Ali and husband Curtis Conway, the parents of a brand new baby girl. Sydney Conway arrived early this morning. Laila tells Us Weekly: “After a long day of labor, I had a healthy baby girl, Sydney J. Conway. We are both very tired, but we fell in love the moment we laid eyes on each other. I feel so blessed and overwhelmed with love and excitement. Can’t wait to get to know her!” This is the second child for Laila and the fifth for hubby Curtis. The couple have a two-year-old son, Curtis “C.J.” Muhammad Jr. and Curtis has three from a previous marriage.

Ziggy Marley And Wife Welcome Their Third Child

Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley's eldest son, and his wife/manager Orly Agai Marley welcomed a baby boy, Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta Marley, on Jan. 26 in Los Angeles. This is the couple’s third child, they also have a 5½-year-old daughter Judah Victoria and a 4-year-old son Gideon Robert Nesta, reports People. He has three other children: Daniel, Camille and Zuri.

Mike Tyson Welcomes His 8th Child

Congrats to Mike Tyson and his wife Lakiha Spicer who welcomed a baby boy, Tyson's 8th child on Tuesday. It’s Tyson’s first child after the shocking death of his four-year-old daughter Exodus, who died in May, 2009, when her neck accidentally got wrapped in a cord of an exercise machine. The couple, who married just 10 days after Exodus’ death, have not yet decided on a name for the little one. Tyson, 44, married Lakiha, 32, are already parents to a two-year-old daughter, Milan.

Cee-Lo Green Is A Grandpa

Cee-Lo Green slipped up and let the cat out of the bag on the Chelsea Lately show. When asked about his daughter Sierra, he announced that she recently had a son and that he is a grandfather at the age of 35. You may remember Sierra from MTV's grandeous birthday show My Super Sweet 16.

Ne-Yo Welcomes Baby Girl

Congrats to the new parents! Ne-Yo and his baby mama Monyetta welcome a bouncing baby girl, Madilyn Grace Smith. Madilyn was born early in an Atlanta hospital she wasn't due until some time in January.
